Quantitative Analyst
We are primarily looking a skilled Quantitative Analyst with a strong background in algorithmic trading strategies. We are looking for someone with an engineering mindset, exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, grounded in a solid mathematical foundation. You will work across all asset classes and take ownership of critical functions such as Alpha Research, Signal Generation, and the HFT strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Research and Optimization: Conduct in-depth research and optimization to identify alpha signals and improve model performance.
Model Development: Apply scientific methods along with advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to augment existing trading models and to develop, test, and implement new ones.
Tool Development: Maintain internal quantitative tools and libraries to support and boost strategy development and hypothesis validation processes.
Backtesting: Rigorously validate model effectiveness and robustness using historical data, while developing and calibrating backtesting simulations for trading and quant teams.
Algorithm Implementation: Translate algorithms into code (C++), and implement new trading models and signals in a live trading environment (Linux).
Problem Solving: Address complex quantitative challenges and devise innovative solutions to enhance trading strategies and operations.
Technology and Research: Stay up to date with cutting-edge technologies, technical libraries, computing environments, and relevant academic research.
We’re looking for:
Educational Background: Degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science from a top-tier university, along with an advanced degree in a Quantitative field.
Personal Achievements: Notable personal achievements in quantitative disciplines or competitions (e.g., codeforces, math and programming olympiads, academic research contests)
Quantitative Expertise: Exceptional mathematical skills with in-depth knowledge of probability and statistics, including experimental design, predictive modeling, optimization, and inference.
Experience: Advanced commercial R&D experience is highly desirable, particularly with hands-on expertise in quantitative trading, financial modeling, or algorithmic trading.
Data Handling: Strong understanding of fundamental concepts, workflows, and methods for managing large data sets with analytical and quantitative approaches.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with designing complex mathematical models and algorithms and translating it into high-performing C++ code; Python, Bash, Linux, distributed computing is also required.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, with a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
