Hardware Engineer
Our company is developing a data transmission system with minimal delay over a range of several thousand kilometers. All hardware and software are developed in-house to achieve the best system performance. Algorithms are implemented on either Intel FPGA or Intel processors running Linux.
Tasks include:
Developing schematics for SDR receivers and transmitters
Routing printed circuit boards in Altium Designer
Maintaining and supporting the electronic component library
Debugging prototypes and commissioning of serial products
Requirements:
PCB routing in Altium Designer
Experience of high frequency electronics design using FPGA, ADC and DAC
Experience of PCB routing and communicating with PCB vendors
Solid knowledge of measurement equipment including spectrum analysers and oscilloscopes
Have good English for reading and writing technical documentation
Ability to participate fluently in technical and professional discussions
A portfolio of at least two completed circuit designs
Desirable but not required:
Having your own homebrew projects and developments
Understanding the principles of electromagnetic compatibility of radio electronic equipment
Experience with SDR device development
Amateur shortwave radio experience
Experience in FPGA programming, particularly with Intel/Altera
