Alber Blanc is looking for a Senior Accountant. This role is ideal for an accountant with Cyprus experience who wants to deepen expertise in local taxation, transfer pricing, and management reporting while working closely with auditors, management, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple companies across EU jurisdictions

  • Review supplier invoices and supporting documentation prior to submission for payment

  • Prepare and issue intercompany invoices and monitor compliance with the Group’s Transfer Pricing policies

  • Process payroll for employees in Cyprus and submit related documentation to the Social Insurance Department, Tax Department, and other government authorities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts

  • Prepare tax returns, statistical reports, and other regulatory filings in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Cyprus (including IR7, IR603, CBC Survey, etc.)

  • Record transaction data in Anaplan and cooperate with the Anaplan implementation team to automate routine accounting processes

  • Prepare invoices, maintain accounting documentation, and manage the physical archive;

  • Draft and maintain internal accounting policies, procedures, and working instructions

  • Assist with internal and external audits and participate in the preparation of the Group’s consolidated financial statements

  • Cooperate with the Company Secretary in the administration of Cypriot entities and preparation of statutory documentation

  • Advise the Company’s Management on accounting and tax matters

  • Act as a backup for other members of the Accounting team, ensuring continuity of finance operations during absences and peak workload periods

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper in Cyprus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of the Cyprus tax legislation, including the First Employment tax incentive program

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

  • ACCA qualification (partly or fully completed) will be considered an advantage

  • Fluency in English and Russian (written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage

  • Willingness to continuously learn and expand expertise across accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and related analytical tasks, including preparing internal memos, transfer pricing analyses, and tax forecasts
