Hardware Engineer
Our company is developing a data transmission system with minimal delay over a range of several thousand kilometers. All hardware and software are developed in-house to achieve the best system performance. Algorithms are implemented on either Intel FPGA or Intel processors running Linux.
Tasks include:
- Developing schematics for SDR receivers and transmitters
- Routing printed circuit boards in Altium Designer
- Maintaining and supporting the electronic component library
- Debugging prototypes and commissioning of serial products
Requirements:
- PCB routing in Altium Designer
- Experience of high frequency electronics design using FPGA, ADC and DAC
- Experience of PCB routing and communicating with PCB vendors
- Solid knowledge of measurement equipment including spectrum analysers and oscilloscopes
- Have good English for reading and writing technical documentation
- Ability to participate fluently in technical and professional discussions
- A portfolio of at least two completed circuit designs
Desirable but not required:
- Having your own homebrew projects and developments
- Understanding the principles of electromagnetic compatibility of radio electronic equipment
- Experience with SDR device development
- Amateur shortwave radio experience
- Experience in FPGA programming, particularly with Intel/Altera
